Windows 7 setup time

    I don't want to mass something up, so I will ask for my friens help, who have updated it lot of times and have Asus mobo.
    I hope thiss will make setup start faster, but I will keep you up to date.

    I found it


    Hi
    before about week, I started topic, because my windows7 installation startup speed was realy slow, lot of you told me that I have to flash bios and my setup will run ok, but it didn't. So I looked for real problem and i found it and it's kind of stupid Only thing I have to do, was disable Floppy Drive in bios and vola, it's work fine, Installed Windows 7 x64 in 12min 47sec, from putting cd in the drive till logging in window.

    That's EXACTLY what I told you to do in post 12 in this very thread :)

    It's alright. Most people think that recommendation is so off the wall that it won't fix their problems. It seemed odd to me, but had that problem with 2 machines at home, with Vista and with Windows 7.
