Win7 Upgrade issues
Alright, so recently I did a clean Windows install to remove Windows 7 RC. So, I used my factory restore to revert to a clean Windows Vista install, then used an .iso I got when I used the Microsoft student store program to upgrade to 7. The upgrade went well, but afterwards I couldn't ( and still can't) modify my desktop wallpaper, the links to the libraries in Explorer are broken (as in clicking them doesn't do anything), and the library links on the start menu also do not function. Lastly, almost anything that's installed in the program files folder (Nothing was installed prior to the upgrade) needs to be run in administrator mode to function.
EDIT: Something new has cropped up. When I try to install some apps (Namely the Razer app for my n52te) I get errors about permissions on the AppData directory. I checked, and I did take ownership, gave myself full control of the directory and made sure that it's not set to read only. None of the settings seem to stick though. =/ . I tried contacting Dell, but they won't assist me as my system is no longer under warranty.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
