    He he thank you. Well I'm installing Windows 7 build 7000 in a Virtual Machine as we speak, working quite well actually but I know there's been official releases now? Where can I get hold of one?

    Cool. I'm going to try another time to install it on that 320GB hard drive I purchased, as I cannot get on the internet in a Virtual Machine for some reason, just makes sense to try and run it outside of Vista.

    Win 7 FIX BOOT


    hey,

    just boot the win 7 dvd and get into WIN RE then choose CMD
    and i that type this command BOOTREC/fixboot it should solve ur
    problem

    Hi i'm new here.

    i experience a problem while installing windows 7 from windows xp sp2 customized version

    while installing windows 7 (bootable disc)

    ..in completing installation after my PC restart it remains at the black state with cursor moving.

    specs

    40gb HDD
    1gb ram
    core 2 duo
    32bit
    2.65ghz asrock board
    256 video card


    kindly help me how to resolve the black screen + cursor stuck up while installing because i tried many remedies and nothing happens, it remains black screen + cursor state after completing installation Y_Y
