I'll let Orbital Shark work on this so we don't cross wires any more but will continue to monitor progress. I really think if you bypass the installer that you can get a working system.

i agree that bypassing the final setup stage would prob give me a working system but how would i do that also if you want to add me on msn so we can talk that way im:baker_120@hotmail.com
if not im fine with doing thing this way
I would like to hear your views baarod as i'm thinking you might have something up your sleeve.
Every Windows 7 install has a working generic image embedded in it that can be extracted with a tool called imagex.exe. That post link above explains how to do it. If he can get to the drive he's trying to install Windows 7 and the Windows 7 ISO to from within Windows XP then it's as simple as mounting the ISO and expanding file out onto the Windows 7 target volume. Then just setup the boot files with bcdboot.exe and make that volume active or if it's a separate disk boot off it with the BIOS options.
You've bypassed the point of failure and should be able to continue...
oooooooo you where talking about after that it should work lol i thought you were saying i have already fixed it after that ok im rebooting in xp where can i find this .iso
