Do you know how to get into Bios setup upon system boot-up ?

Tapping DEL key a few times before windows loads .

Look for a section that enables ACPI

Try re-setting Bios with Load Fail-Safe Defaults.

I just bought that same CPU & MB from Newegg for a new build but have not built it yet. So I am sure I will work with win7
