SATA Drivers - Slipstream into Windows XP CD
I tried using nLite like the instructions in your link said, but it couldn't identify the disk. Is this because I was trying to use an ISO image? Seems to me it would be easier to use one of those.

Also, I have no floppy drive available to me.

I believe you need to load extracted files into NLite. Then slipstream in the SATA drivers which you have extracted to stick or CD, recompile ISO to burn to CD or write to stick.

Use the Win XP CD.
So I have to use the actual CD, not the ISO image?

Okay, I found out there was a way to get back the specific feature I wanted from a friend of mine that is a computer programmer, but I'm still curious as to why Windows hasn't made it so that you can install drivers in XP via flash drive.

Because XP is ancient and XPired.

Glad to hear you got the feature you needed - can you share how it was done to benefit others?

The feature was disabling the Driver Signing check, which you go into the command prompt for. Open the Command Prompt and type:

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

Hit enter. You will have to restart your computer for this change to be applied.
