    Display fonts troubles

I have set them fairly large as as a senior citizen my sight is slightly defective.

My problem is that whilst one website will display at a suitable size another will not, and is even down to something less than 8 point.

Hopefully someone can help me solve the difficulty I have.

Have you tried going to tools-options-content and Fonts Advanced. Try setting the controls to use what you want instead of what the website wants. There is also a minimum font size you could adjust.

I assume you know about the magnifier in Win 7, in case you need it?

Using a larger monitor might also help.

    In Advanced I have set

    Proportional: Serif Size 16
    Monospace: Courier New Size 13
    Minimum Font Size 13
Allow pages to choose own fonts unselected

    I also did a Restart.

However when I accessed one of my frequently used sites it was as small as ever.

    Monitor is 22" HD Wide

    Hello,

    I have the same problem.

The first thing I do is set the resolution to 1024 x 768. You may want to try
other resolutions to see ( excuse the pun ) which is best for you.

Also when viewing, try holding the Ctrl. key down and rolling the mouse wheel. This will
increase / decrease the entire screen.

    Hope this helps,
    Richard
