Windows 7 upgrade infinite reboot
Hello, I recieved a Windows 7 upgrade disc from Lenovo and was eager to upgrade from Vista. I put in the disc, followed all the steps properly, and I went to bed and then to school while it was upgrading. When I came back from school there was a message that said there was a problem and that it had to restart to restore vista. So it rebooted, and it went back to the setup screen with the blue backround and bird. It repeated the message. This happened a few times until I looked for help on the internet. I found that this had happened many times before, and that it could usually be fixed by going to the command prompt in the Windows RE screen, and typing cd d:\users (D is the drive where users is for me) and then typing dir /s |find "is too long" |more. This did not give me any results. I then looked for it manually by typing dir /s /p. again, no results. I read that this is because it is not a shell folder redirection problem, although the article I read it on gave no support on how to fix it if it were not a shell folder rediection problem. Could someone please help me try to fix this?
