Of course, I don't mind reinstalling drivers and programs, I was just trying to avoid manually migrating settings. For example, the desktop folder, cookies, favorites/bookmarks, browser settings, thunderbird email, etc. I know the "Windows Easy Transfer" did this automatically from XP to Vista/7 and I was hoping there was a similar tool to do the reverse. It sounds like I am just going to have to identify the correct folders or files in 7 and copy and paste them individually into the appropriate place in XP. Pain in the ass.

If anybody read the link I posted, it appears that MS needs to fix the way the Windows 7 "Generic default PnP monitor" driver doesn't support 1080p on a DVI/HDMI output. The EDID reading is broken/bugged in Win 7. It works flawlessly with the exact same drivers and hardware in XP and Vista.
