Will Clean-Installing My Computer Make It Run Faster?

    By the way, I knew what was causing my lag and problems. I just disabled most of the stuff on startup.

    Imaging is no problem - just buy an external hard drive for it. I just bought a 500GB iOmega to handle that. I keep system backups (including an image) and all my VM's on there. With all that it's only half full. If this machine dies for some reason I can get it all back operational in a very short time that way.
