    I have a toshiba laptop


    Hey there i have a toshiba laptop its like 4 months old, and has many virus's that it got last night...

    im hopeing i can "reboot" my windows 7 and go back to how it was when i bought it....


    How do i do this??

    bump please help me, i really would love to get my laptop up and going again, i have a ton of "malware viruses i used norton, and anti malware and it still is bugged up so i am in need to directions of re booting the system!

    no i have windows seven, i just throw a pic out there to give you guys any idea of the product i need help with

    no i got win 7 (hence i joined win 7 forum! lol )

    but i got some viruses and i would like to know how to re boot the system so that i can get rid of all the files and be left with the computer as if it were the day i bought it... how do i do this?

    If you want to reinstall, below is the procedure. But this may be an overkill. Try the restore first.

    1. Make sure the computer is turned off.
    2. Press and hold the 0 (zero) key on your keyboard while powering on the computer. When the computer powers on, the Toshiba Recovery Wizard screen displays.
    3. Select one of the options, and then click Next. The options are: Recovery of Factory Default Software (recommended) or Erase the hard disk.

    okay thanks i found system restore under system tools, and clicked it , and now its saying " please wait while you windows files and setting are being restored system is italizing

    is that good?
