C:\Users\All Users\Start Menu - Access Denied !!!
How do I add custom items to the above folder ?
I need to add shortcuts for our corporate ERP application.

That is because it is not a real folder it is a junction point for old software. The real place is:
C:\ProgramData
As a "Domain Admin"
"C:\ProgramData\StartMenu" is also denied !!!
Even using windows explorer as a Run As administrator denies access.
Here is the path I should
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu
This may be worth placing in an FAQ
I just bumped into a neat way to unravel these "uncoperative" junction points.
1. Use windows explorer to identify the folder containing the uncoperative junction point
2. Go to a cmd prompt and CD \
3. now CD to the path in step 1 (eg CD \Users\All Users)
4. DIR /ah (the ah part is important)
5. Now read the real path for the required junction point. eg
Start Menu [C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu]
This works for other junction points too....
Who said DOS is dead!!!!
