    trouble with win7 and monitor

    Hi all,
my girlfriend just installed win7 over her xp pro in her dell dimention 3000.
the with onboard intel graphics. The problem is the display is huge but she can't seem to change them to the proper size res. she has done driver downloads and upgrades but the vga driver keeps taking over and giving no option to resize.
Just a note..we both just graduated an ComTIA a+ net+ class so tech help would be helpful...yes it is pluged in ..lol

In Device Manager, select the video device, update driver, manually navigate to the driver folder and install.

Guru3D provides a tool - DriverSweeper - that is a 'must have' for recent A+ grads.

I cannot access any Dell pages now, either. I thought it was just me.

Maybe Dell bought a new Dell server.
