    Registry access


    i am running as an administrator, but every time i try to register cusom Dlls I get an error message saying that I don't have rights to the registry. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change?

    i have MS Visual studo 2008 when I try to debug it tells me that I need administrative rights to the registry. But i am an administrator on this machine.

I am trying to make changes tol the keyboard scan code in the registry using "Keytweak.exe". When I click on APPLY to make the changes to the registry I get the "access denied" error. How can I gain access to th registry?

I use a Key Remapper to exchange the Caps Lock key with Scroll Lock key because of my big and not nimble fingers when I type. When it tries to change the scan code in the registry "Access in Denied". Can I change that ?

I was attempting to change the scan code in the registry and got an "Access Denied". What must I do to make the change I wish?
I'm not sure exactly where I would post this thread so if this needs to be moved, please feel free to do so. Heres my deal: I use VNC for work (allows me to remote into clients computers) and when I installed this application on my laptop, I am getting a --RegCreateKeyEx: Access is denied....
