Windows 7: Screen goes black after second boot

Could that still be bugging me?
It seemed to work fine, untill I started updating drivers (like all of them, no clue which one can be causing trouble)

So currently, I can boot windows in safe mode, and everything works perfectly fine (as far as that is possible in safe mode) however, when I start in normal mode, it gets stuck after a certain amount of time.. I already tried removing my grphics card, and reinstalling the drivers from the cd, but that didn't help.

It's driving me mad for real, a 1.4k system and the OS isn't working as it should.. Maybe it's my fault, never built my own system before, but idk.. Btw, I didn't believe that one of my hdd's is broken, so I tried to reboot untill it finally got installed xD

[edit]
If this is off topic, please let me know and I'll start a new thread in an appropriate section.

Try to use updated drivers whenever possible. Nvidia for your gpu and intel for your chipset, realtek audio etc.

I have found the problem, it had to do with my wireless LAN card. I think it was some utility that was installed along with the drivers, not sure though. Thank you all for the help!

Always best to let Windows manage your network connections. When I remove the factory bloatware wireless manager on reinstalls, performance and startup time improve significantly.

+1 I agree with Greg. The router utilities work well with XP; but Win 7 does a much better job without the utilities installed.
