Problem with Dual OS W7 and XP: How to remove XP HDD

For some reason I coudn't do a clean install, because I coudn't boot from CD or USB.
So I inserted the Windows 7 disc in my DVD player and installed it from within XP. I'll have to mention that my sytem drive is failing due to many damaged sectors. It's an IDE drive. I have another drive which is using Sata/Raid and my XP version would never even detect that one during setup.
In the hope that windows7 would detect the sata drive, I installed from within XP on the good drive. Everything worked smooth, it installed on the partition I wanted it to and windows 7 looks great and runs smooth on my crappy old computer.

So, I got XP on C\ and W7 on G\ . Actually I would like to keep XP, but the drive is failing, it starts to make weird clic clac sounds and I cannot run CHDSK anymore on that drive.Sometimes it stops spinning altogther. If I am on W7 when that happens I can keep working, but the moment I reboot, I get a stop error from the W7 boot screen.Something like ntdrl missing. Moving the damaged disc a bit sometimes helps and by chance it will start spinninig again (like now). But I really would like to remove that drive and keep working with W7 alone. Please someone help me and tell me which files have to copied, moved or edited to make the transition.

I downloaded a tool called EasyBCD, but I don't know how to use it and what changes to make. Anyway, this is the info BCD shows:

I am hoping SIW2 will pop in to this post.

1) Download SIW2 Tool sispar to your desktop, from here.
NTLDR is Missing

2) Unzip download.
You can download 7zip from here,
Download

3) Open folder, Right Click and run as admin on sispar.cmd.

4) Press enter

5) Enter the drive letter you want for the NEW system partition (must be a Primary partition with 7 on it)

6) If you want to include all your current boot menu items (assuming you have more than one) type Y when it asks, if you only want the boot menu entry for the New system partition, type N.

It takes about 3-5 seconds.

That's it.

If the NEW system partition is on the first HD in boot order - it will show as "system" in Disk management on next restart. If you have more than one HD - obviously, on restart go into bios and set the HD containing the NEW system partition first in bios boot order.

Thank you soooo much Theog. It solved my problem in a few seconds, just as you said it would. I could remove the faulty drive and Windows7 booted without any problems from partition G.
