Don't quite understand
Frede I don't understand what you mean by "yellow slots" as in my limited experience yellow slots are usually the PCI card slots ie graphic, audio cards, extra USB ports etc.
I stand to be corrected but isn't DDR2 a little "outdated' and also quite expensive as I have just added some (2GB 800Mhz) to an older computer belonging to my son (laptop) plus cleaning out a heap of crap and the performance isn't a great deal faster. Personally I would be getting a newer or new machine for what it's worth. |

Yes they're a bit outdated, but my mobo doesn't support DDR3.
The yellow slots is my 2 last ram slots, they're often used for better overclock etc.. I have some friends running same spec and ram as I do, with 64-bit and they have no problems either. Best Regards, FredeGail |

Basically, 64-bit computers perform faster than 32-bit computers. :)

Question:
I have World of Warcraft installed here on my 32-bit OS. It's on my HDD, that means it's not the same drive as Windows is on. My Windows 7 is on my Solid disk as well. If I change to 64-bit, will I be able to run the game still? I'm not sure you can have the game in 64-bit.. it just uses whatever the OS have. Or what? Best Regards, FredeGail |

PS Time to save your pennies ?Krone's for a newer machine mate - easier for an old bugga like me to say but worht it in the end ![]() |

Hmmmm
Did you say you're mobo won't support DDR2 cos I thought you were looking at putting DDR2 in? or have I got it horribly wrong somewhere.
On the other your mobo does support DDR2 and if you have room for the two extra sticks then why not just do it? It's not that expensive - well not out here - don't what gear costs where you are living. For example 2x2GB sticks Corsair SODIMM @ 800Mhz = AU$60 Twin sticks Corsair (2x2GB) 800Mhz = AU$39. Just thought but if the Danish suppliers are really that expensive the UK's just over the water and with say a 5% shipping cost got be worth a try?? ![]() |
