    Boot Problem

Hey guys, Long time no post. :)

OK here is my problem. I recently installed Ubuntu 10.04 to try it out. It installed fine onto my GB HDD, did the restart went into GRUB, no win 7 entry. Loaded up Ubuntu and checked to see if the Win 7 HDD was working, it was. Popped in my Win 7 disk and went into recovery options, the dialog box listing the installs came up, nothing in it. Went through and did a startup repair, didn't work.

I thouht it might be an issue to do with the boot order of the HDD's, went into bios and changed my Win 7 HDD to boot first, let it start up again and it come up with
    BOOTMGR MISSING CTRL+ALT+DEL TO RESTART.

Put my recovery disk back in and tried startup repair again, still couldn't find the Win7 install.

Its starting to bother me now.

    Please Help

try the repair process around 5 times until successfull! the problem is windows startup repair fixes one thing at a time and there are 3 things to fix in your case (i have done the same thing sometime ago)

also try this in the command prompt window (in the advanced repair options)

    Code:
    Diskpart
    list disk
select disk [replace this with your number of the disk (HDD) where windows 7 is installed on]
    list partition
select partition [replace this with your number of the partition where windows 7 is installed on]
    active
    exit
    reboot
Then restart and if it still doesnt work do the repair option like around 5 times again! if that doesnt work i cant help any further
