    Hi ,


    What is the time needed for installation, in a normal system ..
    I am stucked to 48% more than 1 hour.

    For 7100 RC? Are you doing a clean install or trying to do an upgrade? I would recommend a clean install. Clean install usually takes somewhere between 12 to 25 minutes or so. My clean install took 12 minutes.

    When I did a upgrade install to build 7048 when that was released (leaked) it took a lot longer at installing. I would really recommend a clean install as its very quick. Make sure you back up all your user files first though.

Installation a Second Time

Using an upgrade disk, is it possible to install a second time, if the first attempt was less than satisfactory. I am referring to using the upgrade disk that will be shipped in Oct. First attempt will be a clean install with Vista nuked.

you can greatly Cut down the time it takes to install windows by copying the contents of the dvd iso to a folder on the HDD and running setup from there
