    Dual Boot Problems

    Hi,
Firstly, I have an EEE-PC 1005ha. I had just installed windows seven X64, and everything worked fine fine with no problems. I needed to have windows xp installed as well, so I created a new partition on the 160GB drive and installed it. The OS installed correctly, but there was no OS choice menu on startup. I fixed this by booting with the Win 7 DVD and ran the startup repair. This let me boot Win7, but now XP is not recognized. I have set the XP partition as active and fiddled with the boot settings, but it is just not being recognized. Bringing up the Boot options menu (F8) doesn't work, and there are no OS's under "System Configuration-->Boot" other than windows 7 hp. The win7 drive letter is (C:) and the XP drive is (E:).

    Any Help would be appreciated.

Only if you install the newest OS last will it autoconfigure the Dual Boot menu during install.

Install EasyBCD 2.0 beta after doing quick registration to use beta. Add XP, accept offered boot files, let autocomplete, Save, Restart.

If this fails, post back a screenshot of your full Disk Mgmt drive map and listings, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu, attach file using paper clip in Reply Box.
