    nothing on screen ?

    Hi

I have just installed w7 on a clean install on a separate drive (dual boot with vista sp1) the install went well or so I thought.
When 7 starts up I get the boot screen but then when its loaded all that can be seen is the logo in the bottom right corner and the mouse icon.
Nothing happens if I RIGHT CLICK or do cont, alt, del and the hdd light is not flickering.
Has anyone come across this ?

    Brian.

I have the same problem. But I did a clean install for Win7. Single Boot.

Only thing can be seen is the bottom right text "Windows 7 Evaluation Copy. Build 7100"

The preparing your windows for first use never comes out.....

got it solved, i connect my PC to both my LCD TV and my monitor.

Found out at last the setup is loaded on the LCD TV which i switched off all the time... had it switched on and everything works like a charm!
