    odd error during sign on

    hey everyone, first post

i installed windows 7 rc1 yesterday and now everytime i sign on i get this error

i've tried to download the .net 2.0 framework and when i try to run it it tells me that the .net framework is already part of my OS and that i can't install it.

is this a registry error or something? does anyone know how to fix this, it's pretty annoying.

Hello Uf20wop, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check in Windows Features to make sure that all of the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 are checked. If it is, then turn them off, restart, and turn them back on and restart again to reset it.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

    well that didn't work

i think the problem is coming from my lexmark drivers

i'm going to try to reinstall them and see if that fixes it... if not... im going without a printer

I've tried installing and re-installing and I still get that .net 2.0 error. Could you supply any help on how to get rid of that? I am using a X6650 Lexmark Win7 RTM 16385 x64.

Whatever I do I can not get rid of that message and get the lexmark productivity center to work.

    TIA!!
