Home Premium windows 7 upgrade help

I bought the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade pack at christmas time to upgrade windows vista..

I recently found out i could have installed the 64 bit version instead of the 32 bit

My question is Can i upgrade my 32bit Windows 7 to the 64 bit version with these upgrade disks
If so How do i go about doing this.

How about giving us your system specs, we can discuss if it is worth your while to change.

As others have posted, it's not possible to do an upgrade-in-place from any 32 bit version of Windows to a 64 bit one. (An upgrade-in-place preserves installed programs.)

A 32 bit OS can qualify for the use of an upgrade license to 64 bit, although you'd have to clean-install the 64 bit OS. (You can do that, no problem.) As you've already used your license key to activate the 32 bit version, you may have to activate the 64 bit version by phone. (Annoying, but simple.)
