Determine which Disk you want to clean from the LIST DISK list which is produced. You should only have one DISK 0.

Did you get it cleaned ok, then create the partition and format using DISKPART commands?

Re: Your activation issue: Did you install the correct version for your OEM license? Are you reading and then inputting the Product Key correctly? If so, then call MS to activate.

Be sure to check optional Windows Updates for any newer drivers. If any drivers are then missing in device Manager, find them on the Support Downloads webpage for your computer model.

Install programs slowly over time so you can check performance after each. Don't let any creep into your msconfig>Startup programs list - I only allow MSE and gadgets in there.

Once you have it running as you want, use CCleaner "Run Cleaner" and Registry tab then Auslogics Disk and Registry Defraggers to clean and order the HD perfectly..

Are you sure you installed the correct version for your OEM license? What does it say at Computer>Properties?

Click on Activate now so it can connect to the internet to activate. If it fails, make sure you input the exact Product Key and read it correctly from COA sticker. If it still fails, call MS at the number given to help you activate.
