If you Google that MSE error you will link to the fix: you have to delete a file from within its Program File so it regenerates. I don't know the exact file but have Googled the error to resolve the error several times in past.

Have you read everything on the web for both of the ATI errors?
    Hi,gregrocker.

I have deleted the files in datastore.I did this once before for code-integrity issues with MSE.It fixed that issue.I did this again when you mentioned it above and there was an update failure afterwards.

ATI error search has led me to a lot of different fixes, yet none are relevant to my issue.I have tried everything I could find. The only way I have been able to be rid of the errors is to completely uninstall everything related to ATI.Uninstall Programs,CCleaner,Boot to safe mode and using DriverSweeper.I get no errors, yet my screen looks like s***.

So.....I am just going to live with it-until I find what is really going on.

I mean, after thinking about it---DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN ERROR-FREE EVENT LOG?

I'll continue the search, but I wont let this get in the way of enjoying my awesomely clean OS.

That Event Viewer is poison if someone had OCD.

Thanks for all your help.In the meantime I'll find something else to run into the ground!

I think Imaging your hard drive would probably be your best option. If I'm understanding you correctly.

Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup[2]=Backup Restore

    Thanks,electrotune1200.

I believe heavily in creating system images. There is nothing better for me.

I didn't know if making restore points often and then reverting back to them would cause undue wear.I mean it is a disk.Stands to reason that at sometime this will wear out?Is there a life expectancy on a HDD?
    Hi there!

Restore point are not enough, just good when you made a mistake! Hdd can live shorter or longer depend how you do care and i suppose how it works during heavy tranfert of files.
    Thanks for clarifying.

I had a feeling that all those restore points were probably not the most secure method of recovery.I once reverted back to one to find that it wasn't foolproof.I guess I'll Image every other week.Unless I make some drastic changes-Which I don't see me doing. The most drastic thing I've done up to this point is the Clean-Install.

System_Imaging can be pretty expensive.Averages about $4 an image.

Thank you for all your help as well.

If the error doesn't impinge on performance then you can let it ride if it won't resolve. Have you installed only driver with no software at all?

I would use Avast 5 if MSE is problematic on your install. I have had one of those that I recall.

Sounds like you need an external HD.

    External HD for back-ups?

I let W7 handle the drivers, unless an issue appears.

MSE has done fine by me.I'll keep it.An update failure here and there isn't worrying me that much.I've tried some paid AV/AS programs and I like MSE.

I noticed that texture-In gaming- is better with CCC running, yet it uses more resources and this machine realy isn't that much on the gaming tip.I play the RE5 because I'm a diehard Resident Evil fan.

Could be HD for backing up...but if you're really sure, your machine is allright and clean, you could go for a DVDs set!

Glad it running smooth for you in CCC. Disabled some windows 7 effects then play your game!

Yes should be the case. Take at least the same amount of Gb as your ( ie 250GB)!
