    File transfer gone wrong

    I got a new laptop yesterday. W7.

My desktop pc (new last December) also has W7.

I used the file transfer facility to move files to the new laptop and noticed this morning that the second partion from the PC has gone over(disc 'D' is now empty).

    Disc 'C' seems as normal.

Obviously I don't want all those files on the new laptop so should I just delete them?

I have got a system repair disc and there is also a set of back up discs (Done last December - I know, I should have done more since then..)

    Where do I begin?

What file transfer utility did you use? DO you mean the easy transfer wizard too transfer files and settings?
