windows 7 RC blue screen IRQL error

Hi, when attempting to install windows 7 RC just before the installation can finish I get a BSOD with an IRQL error. The computer automatically restarts so I don't get enough time to see the details of the error then it automatically reverts back to Vista. Some assistance please?

    Hi Zevin,

IRQ Errors are usually caused by your Computer devices, Reset your BIOS to defaults and remove/disconnect all non-essential hardware like modems, USB hubs and etc... Doing these things should solve 99% of all setup related errors

It would help to know the error code, Can you find the Setup log and upload it here? (Windows setup log file locations)

    Thanks for the reply dmex.

    Which log file from
Windows Vista setup log file locations would contain the relevant information for my problem?

Are you trying to use the Upgrade install option?
