    windows 7 installation


    i ve windows 7 home premium 32 bit genuine installed on my compaq610 .some how it was corrupted due to partitition magic 8 . and i now i ve installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit .
    now can i get the setup of windows 7 home premium 32 bit and istall on my laptop with original key masked on th eback of my laptop. can it make my win7 genuine AGAIN?????

    Does the laptop have a Recovery partition which can be run to restore Win 7 Home Premium? If WIn7 came with it, can you order the Recovery disks or a Win7 install DVD from the manufacturer?

    If not, you need to borrow or obtain a Win7 installer of any version, extract the ISO, unlock all versions to burn to DVD or write to flashstick, then install your licensed version.

    now can i get the setup of windows 7 home premium 32 bit on dvd. my question is that if i install this win7 home and i enter the original key masked beneath my laptop ...can i activaye it and will it become genuine... can it make my Windows 7 genuine AGAIN?????

    Yes you can use the activation key on the COA sticker attached to the PC to activate your Windows 7 though it may require a robo-call to MS using this method out-lined in this tutorial at the link below.

    Partition Magic is obsolete with Windows 7 and destroys the partition structure as you found out.
