    No problems Lomai. :)

I too download iTunes through Apple updater rather than downloading it from website. You know, many browser cause many issues when downloading a single file. Lets keep our fingers crossed to know the result

Should have no issues with that hardware at all.
    Have you tried this?
You could also try re-downloading the itunes software just to verify that there are no issues with what you are using for the installation. Normally I would not state this given my limited bandwidth and connection speed but if you are up to it, give it a try :)

    Regards
I tried to reinstall iTunes+QuickTime from "Apple Software Update" and hence to follow the guide by using MSCONFIG. Then I rebooted my system but...nothing is changed: the problem is always the same...iTunes CRASHS

That is strange!!! Was the installation successful? Do you have any 3P AV or firewall? Is your hosts file modified?

No, I think I don't have nothing because I've just installed windows 7.
The installation was OK, without any problem.
In another pc with the same specs I tried to install iTunes 7 and it run without any problem but after I wanted to install the last version and I had the same trouble: crash!

Did you first tried a upgrade or a clean install of iTunes. I have it installed with no issues. BTW, at what stage you get the error?

Any possibility of changing the compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3 and checking?

Edit: Also try to run the installer as an admin.

I tried to install as admin, I tried to install the 64bit version but...nothing
So I decided to install the old version, 8.2.1, and now I don't have any problem.
