How do I decline Windows Live Essentials Update?

I admin that I installed Windows Live Essentials a few days back. I didn't like it (sidebar: it made dealing with my many Outlook accounts a pain, but that's another discussion). So, I removed it.

Now, I just checked for updates and Windows Live Essentials was in my list to install. I installed everything except Windows Live Essentials. How do I remove it from the list?

I have tried rebooting since my successful update of the patches I wanted.

I looked in the SoftwareDistribution folder, thinking maybe there was a single file that I could remove, but there's my entire history of updates there, which I don't want to mess with.

I certainly don't want some other user on the machine to OK the install, so I would like to hide it. Steps? Thanks.

Right click on it and select hide update.

That's alright, we've all overlooked the obvious at least once.

At least it was an easy fix huh.
