    [SEEK HELP] Hard disc space changing


    i just got a laptop and idk how to change the damm harddisc spaces. any there got an idea?..

    my laptops name is

    msi cr720

    i want my haddisc to be

    C : 30gb
    D : rest

    (and both is already made, just at standard space), which means it is 250 and 150 on the other :S..

    You might try the free version of Partition Wizard to resize & partition your HD.

    A lot of members here use it.

    You may be able to use the Shrink volume capability of Disk Management that is built into Windows 7.

    My opinion, 30GB is to small for a Windows 7 boot partition. Mine is 80GB and has about 32GB free at the moment but I'm very careful what I put there.

    My opinion, 30GB is to small for a Windows 7 boot partition. Mine is 80GB and has about 32GB free at the moment but I'm very careful what I put there.
    true, it might not be much. but aswell. i only need c partition, for drivers and random programs. D will be for music, movies, games, etc. so i basically dont need more than 30gb on c. since most programs wont use alot of spaces (of those im installing) ^^

    weird. can't go lower than 130gb on c drive :S. how do i take more off?

    Try free Partition Wizard CD which Doc linked to earlier.

    Defrag the HD first with free Auslogics Disk Defragger to make it go smoother.
