    deleted system reserved.

i was trying to reformat my pc last night (windows 7 to windows 7, just doing a clean reformat).

now, i have 3 partitions in my hdd. system reserve, OS partition and my personal partition. i decided to delete my OS partition, then proceeded to delete my system reserve (it allowed me to, don't know why). I then created a new partition. My pc now has only 2 partitions. When I try to install to my new OS partition, it says that "Setup was unable to create a new system partition blah blah" The usual msg. I tried doing the Active thingy on the diskpart but I still can't install my win7. Help guys.

Oh noes! I tried doing the Clean All in diskpart and after 2 minutes, I just read that it will delete data on the whole hard disk (ie all partitions). I have my data erased. I shut it down immediately and now i have 1TB of unallocated space. Oh well. I hope I can recover some of my data with third party programs (IIRC, it will mark it first as unallocated space right? before it writes 0's to the disk, so i really hope i can recover some files)

However, I can now install Win7. Thanks!
