How to delete earlier OS files?

    Hello
I have this problem for a few months, but never thought of solving it till now.
I run windows 7, but I decided to install XP along with Windows 7, so now I have 2 operating systems; I had many problems with XP so I decided to re-install windows 7 (custom installation), so the XP is no longer present.

But now every time I start my PC this screen appears:

How can I stop this screen from appearing?

    HELP!!!

To remove the Dual Boot menu, look for the ghost XP listing at msconfig>Boot tab and delete it.

If this fails, install EasyBCD 2.0 to remove XP on the Edit Boot menu.

If you reinstalled Win7 from disk, it is likely your Recovery partition sitting on the preferred lower HD address will not work any longer, although you can test it by seeing if it will trigger at bootup using key given on first boot screen or in your Manual.

If not, or you already have your Recovery Disks made in case you need to return to factory condition, you can delete the Recov partition by wiping the HD before a clean reinstall, or recover the deleted Recov space into Win7 using steps we can give you.
