Problem Installing
Hey Guys, really hope you can help me out here.
Basically, i have just downloaded the 32bit version of 7, i have burnt the .iso to a disc usin ImgBurn.
I restarted the computer and set boot device to Cd/DVD.However, the disc does not boot at all, i thought it would boot and ask me which partition i would like to install to. Obviously not.
So then i decided to run the disc from the desktop, this begun to work fine, i chose New Install and chose the new 'Logical' partition i had previously created. The setup began, however, i got a blue screen saying something like Windows has had to shut down unexpectedly.
I restarted the computer and it began to boot with the Windows 7 style, however, it quickly reset itself and started booting again, however, this time it booted using Xp and booted to desktop.
I then got a dialog box saying "this version of windows is not compatible and didn't install correctly, your previous version of windows has been returned to normal"
Im really confused now guys and dont kow what to do.
Am i creating the boot disc wrong?
Ps. I have had windows 7 running, but it was so unstable (BSOD'ing every ten munites) that i had to completely re-format my HDD.
Anyway, any help would be great guys.
Thanks
