In addition, have you ever wiped the HD before reinstall to remove any corruption?

I am assuming since you are clean reinstalling that you have abandoned the useless Sony utilities, so their partition should go as well since it may be interfering.

Have you made the Recovery disk set off of the Recovery partition so you have a path back to factory condition if you ever want to sell the laptop and keep your Win7 upgrade? I would do this and then wipe the Recov partition as well.

Wipe the HD and format using this: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

If you have any questions, please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map using SNipping Tool in Start Menu.

Also test your memory using built-in WMD test and HD using maker's full CD scan: Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities (Storage) - TACKtech Corp.
You didn't respond to a single suggestion I posted, so why did you post for help?

If you have questions about any of these critical issues, then ask them. Don't just ignore all help given and then ask us to pray for you before blindly reinstalling.

This is an interactive process - each question you respond to will generate a next step or suggestion. If you are unsure of the question or step, simply ask back.

Use Seatools to scan your HD from CD.

There are questions you continue to ignore about making Recovery Disks before wiping HD, whether you use any Sony utilities. If not, then wipe all partitions.

You never mentioned losing data. We could have helped you recover your data before wiping HD using Repair CD or DVD Repair console: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

If you do a clean install, nothing should go wrong.

Be sure to boot the Recovery Disk to make sure it works and see what options it gives you.

Also make the Macrium boot disk so you can use your Macrium image if needed. Go ahead and boot the CD to make sure it finds the saved image and cues it up for reimaging.

Let us know how the memory and hard drive tests go.

Before you wipe the HD to try clean install again, make sure you have the latest BIOS version by checking for updates on Vaio Support Downloads webpage for your model.

Also check in BIOS setup to see what your SATA controller setting is. Try AHCI first, then IDE if necessary.

This time use the drivers given by the Win7 installer and offered by optional Windows Updates. Any drivers then missing can be found on Vaio Downloads page for your model.

If the problems persist after clean reinstall we will help you troubleshoot them in Event logs or in our expert Crashes and Debugging forum.
