That might explain for me why couple weeks ago, all guide data vanished.
The fix was to redo TV setup.
And I had to do that 3 times before it was correct.
New win7 install then setup wmc.
did the following sequence
install ceton drivers
startup wmc custom
task/settings/setup tv signal
after selecting zip code
message: "downloadable TV program Guide listing unavailable"
no option to update guide as well
I have 2 other win7 working fine.
BUT
I have Suddenlink cable digital (Milton WV). On Dec 15th, Suddenlink added new channels and change a couple of channels. The Windows Media Center has not updated the guide listing (the 5 new channels are missing), and even worse, the listings will not go past Dec 26th (this corresponds to the time...

so my tv guide listings are about 30 mins out of sync ive already updated the listings about 3 times i would like to be able to record shows but cant record what i want because the times are off any help?
I've set up Windows MC guide in accordance with the instructions by entering my postcode but find the listings are incorrect - well, nearly all. Will they correct over a period of time? ...any one else with this problem?
Any advise appreciated.
