Can you just not find the Icon in start menu, or did you actually uninstall it?

here's a solution.. just saw another thread from a guy who wants to turn media center off, so if you trade computers.. problem solved.. lol..
but seriously, you can't always fix a problem if you have no idea what caused it

In that case, go back to a restore point from before you uninstalled it and restore the system.

can't get that far back. If I reinstall disk, will it overwrite or will it kill all data and start over??
