    Strange XML Files Appear....

    Mikinho:

Last week I was moving some movies from one HDD to another and noticed a very strange thing... down at the bottom of all my movie folders I have several hundred XML files which have mysteriously appeared.

Also since I have movies stored on more than 1 HDD, I have the same # of xml files on the second drive... both contain 404 xml files, 404 being the number of total movies I have ripped to my HDDs.

I never noticed this before, screenie is below. Any ideas whats going on here?

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been over worked lately and had a bout with pneumonia.

That is very odd, all I can think of is during the move it caught the files mid-transfer. That or you have that folder listed under Metadata tab as additional folders?

    Yet Another YAMMM Question...

    Mikinho:

I have a pretty good selection of 007 Movies, but if I name them 007-****** YAMMM renames them...

It would be nice to have all 007 movies grouped together in W7MC, how can I accomplish that yet still allow YAMMM to rename folders? Is it even possible?

For example on my HDD I have:
For Your Eyes Only (1981) [007- For Your Eyes Only]

--- Can I set the name in []s to be the movie name?
    If so how???

I have every 007 movie (even the horrible ones) so I feel your pain.

Shot me your e-mail via PM and I'll get on the beta list when it goes out this month. It lets you setup rules for boxsets\genres for special naming. I have it setup to prepend 007- to every Bond movie.

Just wanted to say many thanks for the ongoing support for YAMMM :) Awesome program and makes WMC 7 complete :)

Just wondering how I get onto the beta program however as I do prefer to remain up to date with my updates and I'm tiring of my g/f complaining at me everytime YAMMM has a brain-fart, flicks the screen everywhere and all the meta-information is lost until I restart WMC.

At first nothing was updated at all, I un-installed then re-installed with no luck.

I checked later on and half of my films had been done but the other half ignored.

I followed the instructions below to set up Yammm so my settings match the guide below.

Add Images and Metadata to Windows 7 Media Center Movie Library - How-To Geek

Hopefully someone can help me! :)

EDIT: It seems to be processing 2 every hour
