Thanks, looks promising, will give it a try. Gotta tell Demonseed to add to his Media Browser thread.

Sounds a lot like media center master , or salami's movie organizer

    thanks again

I should have a new release available tomorrow or Thursday, I still have some post-wedding cleanup at home to take care of so not sure which day.

Please send any additional feature requests.

Orbital Shark- I've included a context menu for scanning folders.

Are there any errors in your Event Log? Do you have .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed?

yes - have windows7 7100 installed - checking event log now

UPDATE - .netfrmaework 3.5 is definately installed and running fromwhat everything says - cant read the event viewer is gives an error - maybe because i am connected to my server. I'm going to upgrade to 7260 today ro tomorrow with a fresh install, maybe that will help as I also have the problem -"not for this thread" of not being able to view movies through wmc - only trailers, but can watch same films on wmp. must be a codec prblem.

    Thanks, mikinho

Keep me posted. I plan on rebuilding two of my PCs this weekend so I'll check as well to ensure I didn't introduce a bug on new builds.
