HTPC Hibernate wake up Scheduled recordings

Everytime i shutdown the media center using a USB remote, it goes into Hibernation.

Is it possible to make the HTPC wake up from hibernation, just before a scheduled recording?

It's not a option for me to go into Standby mode, because of the Fans still going on, only Hibernation is a option.

    Hi,

Use hibernate sleep (S3 power state). It works fine.

Review 'USB Selective Suspend' option in Power Options>Advanced Settings. Also review the settings in your BIOS, as suggested above. It is the proper combination of these two that will lead to your USB devices staying powered while the PC 'sleeps'.

These settings will force USB power off on systems that support the feature, and may need to be enabled OR disabled, depending on the system. Test accordingly.

The Power Scheme 'Balanced' or 'Power Saver' should also be used.

Additionally, a custom Power Scheme can be created and used.
