    How do I get WMP to start DVD where I last stopped it?


    When I used Windows Vista, Windows Media Player would automatically start playing my DVD from the last point I stopped it. This isn't the case with Windows 7. I watch a lot of TV episodes on DVD and it's annoying to constantly have to start from the root menu and FF to get the last part I had been watching. Anyone know how I can fix this?

    i know this isnt exactly what you want, but WMC does resume, have you tried using Windows Media Centre?

    You might want to look at this thread:

    WMP does not have resume last playlist

    hope it helps you solve your problem

    There is also a resume plugin out there "in the wild" but it's made for mobile Windows versions so it probably won't work on se7en

    When you stop the DVD do you use the stop button or the pause. If you're stopping it, maybe try pause instead.

    I'm using this: Windows Media Player Plus - Plug-in
