2 MP3 audio streams playing simultaneously

    Hi all,

I have a few MPG4 AVI files that have multiple audio streams (regular & commentary) and MC7 insists on playing both streams at once.
If I play the file in Media Player Classic HC, I can choose which of the audio streams to use via a menu.
I tried forcing 7CM to use ffdshow by renaming the DLL's (via http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/per...ad.aspx#336304) but 7MC just did the same thing even when using ffdshow and I had multiple icons in my system tray.
One thing of note, is that I am not certain which codec I am using in MPCHC for the audio, because honestly, I have always had a very hard time working out what the difference is between source & transform filters, and what it all means as far as which program/codec does the decoding...so off on a tangent for a sec, can anyone point me in the direction of some help for this...

So back to the real topic...can anyone tell me how to force MC7 to only play the first audio stream, or if I can setup my codecs to do this???

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks,

    Pat.

Its the splitter issue. Instead of microsoft default, u should use gabest or better haali splitter. But MC blocks external filters if it has ones already for that format.
Sourse filter is a splitter, its used for file parsing.
    Transorm filter is just decoder.
