    Windows Media Center Features in build 7260 NOT there?

    OK guys I need some feedback from others here that have build 7260 installed & have tested Media Center.

    Here's the thing...Media Center in build 7229 has added features in it such as Internet TV without using any plugins at all!
    I works too as I've tested it to make sure!

    Where as (on my system anyways) on build 7260 this is Gone & not there at all without using a plugin such as SecondRun TV.

    Now the question...
    Is this just in my case, or is this true for everyone on RTM 7260?

    One final detail...build 7229 was upgraded from previous builds last being 7137 just before it.

    Whereas I upgraded directly from RC 7100 to RTM 7260 using SoLoR's ISO.

    Not sure if this makes a big diff or not but thought it was important enough to bring up.

    Get back to me when you get the chance...Thanks Guys!

    Problem was Upgrading from RC 7100 instead of 7229!!!

    Well, for all those that have looked at this post & didn't know the answer to give me, I solved the issue myself!

    The problem was with Upgrading from RC 7100 to RTM build 7260 & not with the 7260 build at all...

    Once I did this ALL of the added features including Internet TV were all there & working correctly...

    So DON'T upgrade from RC 7100 if you want Media Center to work correctly but instead upgrade from 7229 instead!

    To do this with the SoLoR ISO do this & it works perfectly as I just got done doing it!

    SoLoR ISO used:
    Windows 7 Ultimate x86 build 7260 RTM branch by SoLoR _working_

    Upgrade Method: 7229 to 7260
    1. uncompress your iso to x:\new7260
    2. open sources\cversion.ini with notepad.
    3. modify to read:

    [HostBuild]
    MinClient=7260.0
    MinServer=7100.0

    4. Open properties on Setup.exe (change to x Run as Admin - change to compatible mode Vista SP2)
    6. Apply and exit

    7. Open x:\new7260 click setup.exe to start Upgrade process and when ask enter any old legit RC Key.

    I don't remember who posted this & I'm not taking credit for this method, only posting that it DOES WORK Flawlessly!!!
