the link to my forum has to do with the SRS plugin anf conflicts with that software.

Using my software for FLAC, and choosing to use the Filetypes Associations button on the Help
will place *.FLAC files into the 'Unknown' catagory of the Library.

    Jacee

Yes I can, I can also select all of the files in a folder and hit play, then make a playlist, it works, what I just can´t understand is why it does not show on the library.

    Shark007

They are there! But why in one PC is different from the other?
Now I´ll have to organize it all by hand :-(

    Thank you for the help!

the other PC probably has a 32bit operating system and you installed a tag support plugin.
I do not know of a tag plugin that works on a 64bit operating system.

Both are x64, the only difference between them is that this one is Ultimate and the other is Premium.
I´ll try to make an repair installation on this one and try to reinstall WMP and codecs all over again and see if it solves.
That is what I find so strange, they are practically the same, almost every same application installed, except games (this one is the faulty one).

    Thanks for the help!

I just did another search on your forum Shark007, I've found here How to add music in FLAC to WMP 12 library?about WMP Tag Plus BM-productions and supposedly worked fine.
I installed here and it reconigsed all the files but they don't play now.

Also I´ve found this one (madFLAC) that is also mentioned on your forum.
Here is a site of how to install it How to Play FLAC Files in Windows 7 Media Center & Player - How-To Geek
I just did it right now trying to solve it before reinstall everything.

    Problem finally solved!
I just installed the latest version of Shark007 codec pack and this WMPTag form this link here, apparently very different from the link I've posted above (BM-productions).
I found the link for the WMPTag that works here on the Shark007 forum: FLAC in WMP
I´m testing now and the files form all flac, including the folder with 13 albums that was not even showing here, now works.
    Thank you for the help!

Glad to hear you have it sorted out.
I agree, my experience with the software from BM-Productions is that it doesnt work very well.

Yes it does not work well, actually as I could see a lot of people have problems related to FLAC files in WMP12
Here everything works except the timeline for flac files, you just can't see the time and run trough the music file, other then that everything works!
Even SRS plugin is working now, still has issues about the automatic start up, has to be manually started but works.
One thing though, I can't use Ccleaner or TuneUp, every time I use it, it spoils the SRS and/or Shark007 codec pack.
Thank you for the help Jacee and Shark007!

I'm the author of WMP Tag Plus, and I think it's a bit premature to immediately blame my plug-in for that playback error. WMP Tag Plus only adds tagging and library support to WMP, and as you can see on the screenshot, those work just fine. For FLAC playback support, you need to install an additional codec, such as madFLAC, but I actually recommend the Xiph.org filters instead. WMP Tag Plus is by no means a replacement for these codecs.

Shark007, I had expected better from you than some vague and unfounded accusation directed at BM-productions software. All because of one problem with WMP Tag Plus, that's probably not even caused by the plug-in itself. If you know of any other problems with the software, then please let me know.
