Media Player Classic Homecinema - VMR9 Issues

I am getting double stretched long (not wide) videos when playing videos in these settings: Playback > Output: VMR9, VMR9 (Windowless), with VMR9 Mixer mode enabled. This happened in build 7100, and my current 7232, (both x64 if that matters).

I didn't get this stretching in XP, and I've never had Vista so I don't know if it happens in that OS.

    snapshots attached..

Is there a reason your using VMR9 instead of EVR Custom?.

are you sure you have not changed the aspect ratio or stretch settings? these stay where you put them even after you shut down MPC.

i just tried that output mode (7229 x86) and it works fine...

Honestly, I don't know what VMR9, VMR7, Hali or EVR means...

I am using VMR9 (Windowless) w/o VMR Mixer Mode.

That is too much to get into, basically they are different renderers with different capabilities. For vista/win 7 your best options are haali or evr custom. After that check your video frame settings, "stretch to inside" will keep the aspect ratio where "stretch to window" can give you the effect seen in your pic if the window height is more than the video's height.
