    What's a good media player?

for as long as i can remember now, ive always used windows media player, but recently ive had an issue with it because every month or so all of the data gets erased, like how many times ive played the song, date last played, when i added it, etc.

does anyone know of any other good music media players? the only thing i do is listen to music, so im not looking for anything specifically for videos or pictures, but i do want something that has the same features as windows media player.

or even a fix for my problems would be nice

i tried out the Zune media players, but it takes too much memory on my PC since i have a lot of background tasks

so if anyone knows an alternative, i would appreciate your input

thank you in advance for any information or help provided

    For listening music I suggest AIMP2 .
    It's great,small program,I use it for 2-3 years.

Well, it´s a strange bug in your Windows Media Player, and I think that soon the experts here will give a help.

Without WMP, the only player that I really like is Winamp. :)
