    Video Speeds Up

Every so often, if I start watching a movie (either dvd or video file) in full screen and then go into windowed mode, the video will speed up a little bit, skipping ahead a sec or two every now and then. Same thing will happen if I start in windowed and go full screen.

    Any idea on this?

Yup - you're changing the display size, and hence the rendering gets a bit behind, and stops working for a sec, and the video speeds up as it presents raw unrendered content, and then it tries to synchronize - this will happen a lot with not only WiMP, but most often with WiMP.

Best bet - pause your video before changing video size.

I'll try that and see if it helps.
