Satellite Media Centers not updating metadata

I am using my main desktop pc (Win7 RC1) to record and act as the server for two other Win 7 Media Center PCs. The problem I have is that neither of the satellite MC boxes will update their metadata as the content changes.

Example: A new TV show is recorded on the server MC PC; it's metadata is updated (shows get grouped in series, etc), however, on the satellite MC PCs, the shows just show up listed with the recorded file name and not recognized as part of the series.

I can "fix" the problem by removing the directory from the libraries on the satellite MC boxes and then re-adding them. Everything gets indexed properly at that point.

Has anyone seen this behavior and, if so, know a fix? Is it a bug related to the build (7100)? I know I saw much worse symptoms on earlier builds ...
