FixWin is not the best tool out there. You can extract the FixWin executable file and put it on the Desktop. From there, right click and and Run as Administrator. See if it works better that way.
Even those fixes are not related to your problem, there's no harm in trying and seeing if there are any effects. There's also FixWMP, not guaranteed to do anything though but no harm in trying:

You can also try System File Checker by going to the Run command, typing cmd, then type sfc /scannow on the command prompt. It can repair corrupt system files but will however take off custom theming that were not built in features in Windows 7.
