    MC Changes in b7022

Please post any changes you've noticed in MC from b7000 to 7022.

So far I've just noticed some different font sizes/styles and the video library icons have changed slightly (wider bottom border).

Regarding the UI features only, 7022 does seem to work a little more smoothly, I notice the scrolling in the menus seems to now work, as well as the "back" button (some people had a problem I guess).

However the reason I upgraded to it was to hopefully get QAM working for my Pinnacle USB stick, instead it broke the Analog tuner that was found and now no TV tuners work. So if that was an issue you were looking to improve on, I would wait for a later version...

I have it installed and it was allot better installing this one, I didn't have the blank screen when installing the display driver, so it looks like they fixed that issue, I did still have a problem with a BSOD on the first go until I removed the OC I had though this should be done as standard practice anyway.

Things I notice that are different so far are:
Welcome screen has changed color and appearance.

    Internet Explorer is now RC1.

    Gadgets work with UAC off.

You can set the desktop to turn off icons or gadgets individually.

Changed color on navigation pane to light blue which is also found in some other areas as well, all colors now seem consistent.

Media player now has a button to view now playing and there are also sample music, pictures and video included.

Control panel has changed and you now have a drop down tab to select the different views and one thing I didn't like is in a lot of windows there used to be a control panel short-cut in the navigation pane in the top left corner which has now been removed.

A couple of icons have changed including Desktop Gadget Gallery and Home Groups.

The start Orb is missing a bit at the bottom when not active and the Media Player and Explorer icons seem lighter in color.

So far it seems very stable and fast and is now feeling even more like completed product and I feel they are defiantly on track for final release at the end of 09. I have also been reading there is a newer 64Bit build floating around as well, so it will be interesting to see if all the changes in this build have carried over to the next.

One more thing to mention is that I have this copy with Genuine Activation Using the official Beta Keys.
